Mattress donation pickup & drop-off near you

Same price as disposal—inside or outside pickup. We donate first, then clean & rehome, and recycle what can’t be reused.

Donation-first mattress pickup and drop-off
Why Ex-Mattress for donations?
  • We go inside (stairs OK). Tight 2-hour window. “Nothing left behind.”
  • Donation-first flow. If a charity can’t take it, we clean & rehome; otherwise we dismantle for recycling.
  • Transparent & planet-first. Same pricing as mattress disposal.
  • Easy booking. Add door codes/notes; we handle lifting & routing.

How donation pickup works

  1. Schedule
Book online—choose inside or outside pickup and your earliest window.
  2. Arrival window
We confirm a tight 2-hour ETA and send day-of updates.
  3. Removal
We lift from any room or curb. Apartments & stairwells are OK.
  4. Routing
Donate first. If not accepted, we clean & rehome; if still not viable, we dismantle and route materials for recycling.

Many charities limit pickups to curb/ground floor and drivers may decline items; Ex-Mattress removes the friction and still prioritizes reuse & recycling.

Before we arrive

  • Access notes: Add door/gate codes or parking tips in the form.
  • Clear a path: Move small tripping hazards if we’re going inside.
  • Bundle loose items: Bag small bedding so we can move faster.

Do you really go inside and upstairs?

Yes—inside or outside is fine. We handle stairs, tight halls, and apartments. Add access codes and directions in the notes.

What if a charity won’t accept my mattress?

We try donation first. If declined, we clean & rehome when feasible; otherwise, we dismantle and route materials for recycling.

Is pricing different for donation?

No—same pricing as mattress disposal, with the added benefit of donation-first routing.

Do I need a mattress bag or manufacturer tags?

No. Minor stains or cosmetic wear are OK. We’ll prep and route to the best destination.

Can I get same-day?

In many areas, yes. Book the “soonest available” window to check today’s routes.
